Nummio is an independent lab for software and applied research. We follow questions until they become models, and models until they become tools.

Curiosity is the starting point. Engineering is how it earns its keep. Reasoning, history and the long conversation about how we know things are the context any serious tool is built in.

Every project begins as a question. Some grow into tools, some remain experiments. Both are part of the work.
A tool for exploring, organizing and investigating knowledge, built for following the connections between ideas rather than just storing them.
An experiment in reactive interfaces for the web: what a framework looks like when reactivity is the starting point, not an add-on.
From model to tool. Constructed Forms is the lab’s language for engineering: structure, constraint and material.

Research at Nummio runs along three lines. They are lenses rather than departments, and most work passes through all of them.
Nummio Research is the editorial line for this work.
Images are Nummio visual studies, generated and rendered for the lab. They do not depict or document real artworks, objects or buildings.
N/06 — Philosophy
Nummio is an independent laboratory for technology, software and applied research. It exists to give curiosity a working method.
That means time to explore a question properly, the rigor to understand it, and the engineering to turn what we learn into something useful. Research and software are not separate tracks here; each keeps the other honest.
Independence is the point. It lets the lab choose problems for their interest rather than their pitch, and build tools at the scale they need, no larger.
